Jordi Molina_Tenora
Very early Jordi Molina became the tenora soloist of the most prestigious cobla bands, where the traditional repertoire was played. But his artistic inquietudes pushed him to the personal research of new ways of expression for the tenora instrument. As a result of this he created different musical ensembles, coupling the tenora with the piano, the church organ, the accordion, filling a very wide stylistic spectrum. To fulfil the artistic possibilities of the musical fields that were opened, he promoted the composition of new repertoire, either by commissioning to composers either with his own compositions and arrangements. Thus, his professional career spread, allowing him, also, to cooperate as a tenora soloist or accompanist, with singers, rock and jazz bands, world music groups and symphonic orchestras. At the present he develops a very intensive career at an international level in the five continents, which confirms him, certainly, as the world-wide outstanding tenora player.
